One brand DNA — three consumer roles

UVELKA: how a single brand meaning became a product architecture

Positioning strategy and the architecture of product directions: we found a promise shared by every category of the brand and separated different consumer jobs — without losing the unity of the trademark.

The task

Different categories under one trademark — and no shared promise

Uvelka runs several categories and sub-brands: grains in cooking bags, flakes, instant porridges, children's breakfasts. Each spoke for itself — and the trademark fell apart into separate products.

We had to define what united them at the level of a shared brand promise and, at the same time, separate different consumer jobs: a side dish for dinner and a child's breakfast are bought for different reasons.

Find one meaning for the brand — without turning it into an averaged message for everyone.

What we found

The key consumer conflict

Seeking convenience and saving time, people do not want to compromise on quality and taste.

This conflict became the anchor: it holds true both for a side dish and for a morning porridge — but shows up differently in every category.

Brand essence

Convenience without compromise

What it means

Fast does not mean worse. Uvelka removes the choice between «convenient» and «high quality»: convenience of cooking is not paid for with the quality of the product.

Reason to believe

In-house quality standards stricter than the national GOST — this is embedded in the original brand strategy and backs the promise with facts, not words.

Brand DNA
  • warmth and heart
  • convenience and time saved
  • impeccable purity and quality
  • character: «close to the roots, yet modern»
= A capable homemaker who can do it all
Architecture

One essence — three directions

The shared promise holds the trademark together, while each direction solves its own consumer job: its own need, its own insight, its own communication idea.
